Today marks the one year milestone of our very first “friend”raiser for A GIRL YOU MIGHT KNOW FOUNDATION

On a personal note, it’s also my favorite human’s birthday, so all around, this very radical day.

Ironically, we are coming off a week of VERY staggering and stellar news…specifically out of the Federal Trade Commission. Full article here, but if you missed it, the FTC is banning noncompetes. This decision is expected to improve the economy by 8,500 new start-ups over the next decade, which would result in higher earnings for workers, and lower health care costs by up to $194 billion over the next decade. Not to mention, this ban will help drive innovation, leading to an estimated increase of 17,000-29,000 more patents each year for the next 10 years under the final rule.

Can I get a BOOOYAAAAHHH-SHAAAAAZAAAAAM!

Obviously, I have an enormous personal investment in this, and I have not been shy about my opinion (thank you all very much for the kind support in my not so objective opinion). I am still trying to figure out how this impacts my current litigation…but from a comprehensive view, it’s all very positive and hopeful.

While we are a small business and fully understand the value in protecting all parties, we fully believe there is a better way to do it better than it’s been. So cheers to improving working conditions and creating win-win scenario arrangements where the carrot (instead of the stick) leads the way and is tastier than ever.

I wanted to celebrate our one year milestone (and Rad’s birthday) in some kind of way… not so surprisingly, my favorite way to do that is by making CHEVAL shoes more accessible to anyone and everyone, especially those that have not had the pawwwfect opportunity to shop sparkle just yet.

If you have NEVER bought shoes from me, email howdy@sheischeval.com with “ROLLCALL” and I’ve got a little something special for you.

If you have bought shoes from me, email howdy@sheischeval.com with “SHABOOYAH” I’ve got a heartfelt gratitude gift for you lined up.

Cheers to friends and a very happy Friday,
